What's wrong, my iPod or my iTunes???
I got an iPod nano for Christmas. I followed the instructions for charging it, and I also downloaded the latest version of iTunes. I then opened iTunes and plugged my iPod into my computer. I waited, but iTunes did not recognize the nano. The nano works, it powers on, but I can't download/transfer anything from my iTunes library for some reason. It's so frustrating!
I've tried using a different USB port, I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried resetting my iPod... none of that has worked. I went on Apple.com to try trouble shooting and none of those methods worked either. The last thing I can think to do is contact Apple by phone... other than that, send my gift back, which I REALLy don't want to do!

Check the cable and the USB port that you are using. Its most likely a connection problem.
