Why does Yahoo Answers delete unresolved questions?
I've had repeat experiences involving deletion of unresolved questions in Yahoo Answers and then YA deletes them. Can anyone who works for YA explain this?
Even though the questions were resolved 100% that doesn't mean the information contained within the questions were helpful and others might be able to use the information too! Deleting unresolved questions is NOT prudent and it is wasteful!
If there is a way to bring those questions back or even to view them since I was the author, please let me know. So I can reask them. Thanks!
I understand deleting if no one answers but when there are answers why does Yahoo Answers still delete the questions along with the answers?

If there are no answers in 4 days the question is deleted unless the asker extends it to 8 days.
