Have you ever noticed when there is one pregenacy there are several people around that are..?

Oh yes, I have noticed this also. The joke with my friends is that once someone we know gets pregnant we all tell each other to "watch out the pregnancy bug is going around."

I'm on army wife and we live on base, we all seem to get pregnant at the same time (around the time that our husband's deployments end, go figure, lol). One day, OBGYN will be a ghost town, and the next they'll be booked solid for months (they actually scheduled my first ultrasound for 6 weeks after my son was due because they were so booked).

Plus I'm sure it has something to do with your perception. Like how you never notice how many people drive jeeps until you buy one. I never realized how many toddlers there were out there until now that I have one.

i have noticed that too when me and my fiance were going to buy an hpt we saw like 4 pregnant women lol and now im pregnant! and now everywhere i go i always see atleast one other pregnant women its so wierd!! i think its jus coincidental though maybe because if we werent prego then we wouldnt pay attention to there being other pregos but now that we are or know someone who is we pay more attention!!

i also think we are in the middle of a big baby boom like the 60's!! all during war time! its super crazy

must be in the water, lol! jk, they say that certain times during the year that more people get pregnant due to the weather. The biggest night of the year for women to get pregnant is new years, go figure!

I think coincedental. It is very strange...seems like everyone I know has become pregnant. I'm 38 weeks now w/my 1st...and I know of at least 15 people having babies this year! Just makes for alot of playdates for our babies...lots of friends to have over to play! Super excited!

Im not sure but I have noticed it too! Ever since I got pregnant people are popping up right and left pregnant! I honestly think its something like a yawn lol its contageous. you see someone doing it and your brain says "hey you should do that too" lol just my thoughts

Yes, pregnancy is contagious.

My cousin gave birth in February, 2006, my sister in law gave birth in July, 2006 and I had a baby in March, 2007.

i know i am pregnant and then my cosuins close friend is like a month behind me and this girl at work was pregnant and my cousins gf is also pregnant and my other cousins gf is also pregnant good lord.

thats funny, but yeah I think we attract other pregnant women to us.
