What can I do to lose weight?
I'm 17 and a senior in high school. I'm 203 pounds and i'm 5'7". I know that I need to lose weight but I don't know how to do it with my busy schedule. I would like to start a weightloss program for the new year and lose as much weight as I can by prom and graduation. If anyone has any food or exercise suggestions that work please let me know. It will be greatly appreciated!

Try to get equal amounts of you vitamins
For example try to get Vitamin C naturally by eating an orange or a tangerine, if you don't have any, go with Orange Juice (Get the pulp brand its MUCH healthier)
To get your Proteins try eating any meat besides Beef or anything Fried. Tuna and Chicken are good examples.
Vitamin D and Pottasium are very essentail for Bone and Muscle Growth and can help the muscles tone up after a workout- These can be found in Bannanas, Dark Cabbage, Milk, Broccolli
Fiber is a very good way to lose weight although I reccomend exercise as well. Try to get 10-15 grams of Fiber daily, replace your bread with Whole grain bread, eat cauliflower or broccolli, and basically eat any dark green vegetable.
As for the workout routine, try to do 30-45 minutes of Cardio (running or jogging),
Yoga is a good way to help relieve stress and maintain oxygen levels to help enhance a workout
Try doing Muscular Fitnesses cause Muscle Burns fat, try Sit-ups or Pushups as these can be done manually without a gym member ship or a machine.

Achieve weight lose the right and healthy way through exercise and Diet. No sweets or Candies and try to get in 1 gallon of water everyday to flush your system of toxins..Happy Holidays.

Fresh fruit and whole gain breads will help you feel full longer. Forget the "all carbs are bad" idea, just lay off white bread/rolls, white rice and non-whole grain pasta. One thing that will help you lose weight is SNACKS! Yes, a piece of fruit or a (low sugar) yogurt or (low sugar) granola type bar mid morning and afternoon will help you not munch on chips and stuff. Don't skip breakfast.
Increasing your water consumption would be good. Go for lean meats and remember that according to the dietitians a "serving" of meat is 4 ounces... about the side of a normal deck of playing cards. So watch your portions and fill up on fruits and vegetables.

Burn more calories than you eat... Watch out for foods with high sugar and fats. If you're hungry between meals, eat fruits and veggies rather than chips and what not. Also, get your heart racing for ATLEAST 20 minutes a day. You can even dance around to music non-stop for 20 minutes and it can help you lose weight! Just make sure to watch your calorie intake!

You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

its consists of: you eat 6 small meals a day every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, they consist of protein and a complex carb..these two combination create a chemical reaction in your body that revs your metabolism and burns fat like crazy..its really what you fuel your body with..for example lean protein like : egg whites,protein powder,skinless chicken breast,turkey,bison,skim milk,tune ect.., and complex carb examples - oatmeal (not the sugary kind)veggies such as broccoli,zuchinni,green beans,asparagus,green pepper ect.. fruits,on this plan your never hungry. you will also notice glowing skin,healthier skin hair and nails and you will feel better and relieve headaches and you'll feel m uch momre energized.and it is SO IMPORTANT that you drink at LEAST 8 glasses of water a day
you will lose weight even faster by weight lifting 3-4x a week, you do not get hugely built by it, it raises your heart rate and burns fat so when its all gone you look sculpted and sexy and doing cardio like running helps strengthen your heart and get rid of pre-existing fat...if you do all this you will see results within 2 weeks

fresh herbs can really zing up a healthy meal try growing some in the kitchen using a strawberry pot preserve the flavor by adding fresh herbs at the end of the cooking process
