30 years old 5'11 can run 5k in 20 minutes is it possible for me to ever be competitive?

i have been running for two years last year kinda seriously. still weigh 205 lbs would i be able to break into the 16-17 minutes range with out losing to much weight it seems like i kinda hit a wall.

    Hello,

    The key to getting more competivie times is speed workouts. For a 5k, plan 2-3 speed sessions a week. You'll want to include tempo runs, hills, intervals, and long runs. Check out the link below and keep up the good training!
