For the second PC, make sure the TCP/IP is working.

The 169 address is windows saying networking isnt working.

Right click on network neighborhood/places then properties

Right click on the lan network and properties. You can choose repair from there. You can also go into properties and click once on TCP/IP then choose properties. make sure its has obtain IP automatically.

If the above doesnt work, check out the network card. make sure the light is on in the back of computer where the rj45 plug is. If its out, you need a new one.

Make sure your network card is set to Automatically assign and IP address. Make sure that the cables are in all of the way. Is there a link light on the NIC card and the port on the router. Try switching cables.

Call Linksys using the support phone number in the box/software/books that came with the router, they will walk you through the hookup step by step.
