Sony MP3 Walkman vs. Apple Ipod Nano 3rd Generation?

Question

So my fiance bought me a Sony Walkman for Christmas. I really wanted the IPod but when he went christmas shopping they was all out of the Ipod i wanted. Well ever since I opened my mp3 player on christmas he has had it with him listening to it. I asked him if he wanted it and he said yeah he was gonna get him one. We decided to let him have my mp3 and he is gonna get me a new ipod like i wanted but...I have heard a lot of reviews saying that the new ipod sucks so which one should I get. A new Sony Walkman or Ipod Nano 3rd Gen.

ipod!!! all the way.....i have had mine now for i think 3 years (old verson not the 3 gen. mines first gen.) so with this 1 u can also buy movies and shows and watch them which is really convinent...but if u cant stare at small screans get a real ipod video a little more expensive but very nice..............mp3s are just a knock off of an ipod and zunes sound  cool but dont work well...i hope this helps and ur marrige lasts (lol no really i hope you have a happy life)

I wouldnt get the Ipod 3rd gen
It is too small to watch videos on 
if u r into watching the videos i would get the touch 
The Screen Is The Perfect Size 
but if you just like music get the 2 Gen nano

I am not sure about the sony 
but most things sony are Really Good And work Well
