Is Nicorette okay to use while ttc?

I took a six month break and fell into smoking again. I want to stop but have always had a hard time. Nicorette has great results but will it impede my next ttc go round? BTW, after 2.5 years, an HSG, 4 rounds of clomid, hcg triggers and IUI's we will be beginning IVF v. soon, I should think.

    I understand the stress of it all has probably brought you back to smoking.

    If you really want to fall pregnant then I would use Nicorette and stop everything a month or two before you start trying again.

    Smoking and Nicorette can affect ovulation and decrease the amount of eggs you could otherwise produce.

    I know it is easier said then done as I love a glass of wine to chill out for the night and I wil be undergoing IVF next month (again) so I really want to give my body the best chance it can get.

    Just don't take nicorette and smoke at the same time. All that nicotine will make your body go into shock and you might get a seizure.

    Not a good idea to use Nicorette while your pregnant. It contains a lot of chemicals just like ciggarettes.

    I don't know what any of this means when your abbreviating everything.

    I smoked for16 yrs.I quit 6 years ago, with no relapse.
