Try hitting your back button.. you know, the little arrow. I've done that before too, with a 2 page email! I got back to it with the back button.

You can try hitting the forward button on the top left side of your computer...

it all depends.. sometimes it is stored in the cache.. so simply clicking back it will re appear.. if not.. then it's gone i'm afraid. just remember to copy your text as you write so if it happens again you just paste it straight back into a new email window.. sorry you lost your email.

I don`t think you can. I have done this many times, and can never retrieve it - it`s really frustrating having to write the letter all over again.

I think this option should be written into windows somehow. If anyone knows different, please let us know!

Try using ctrl-Z on the keyboard to undo. It isn't available everywhere - but it works in many cases!

    Good luck!

  • press on to Ctrl and the Z button

No. It wont. I hate that! I have come to practice always copying the text using the control-c just in case I do that. :)

on you can't. ctrl + del only works only if you delete a word. If you accidentaly go to one web page then you can't retrieve your e-mail.

Source(s): This has happened to me so many times.

Just click forward really quick, sometimes you are able to recover it.
