Spoon feeding a 6 mth old?
we spoon feed our 6 mth old in his walker and he will look away at get fixated on stuff and then start crying because he wants fed and then as soon as the spoon is out of his mouth he expects another spoonfull to be ready already and in his mouth or he starts screaming or crying and then all of the sudden when he is content he just turns his head and gets fixated on stuff other than feeding . is this normal or ADD ??
btw, this is a real question ...

Sounds normal to me. Spoon feeding is a big adjustment for both of you- just be patient. I think you might have better results though if you feed him in a highchair instead of his walker. His walker is a place for him to play. If you get him used to the fact that his highchair is a place to eat, then he will probably concentrate more on eating when he's there.

SHE DIDNT START THIS UNTILL YOU STARTED FEEDING HER SOLIDS WELL THERES YOUR ANSWER RIGHT THERE is there a reason you are starting her early SHE ISNT READY FOR SOLIDS and you shouldnt be feeding her solids before the milk anyway dont be in such a rush to start bubs on solids she is obviously trying to tell you that give it a couple more months Babies need to have milk first to line there stomachs otherwise constipation will occur just stick to the bottle for now and another thing you dont give solids then straight away shove a bottle in her mouth you should offer the bottle first then wait at least 30-45 mins before offering the solids so that they have room for it ,just remember they only have a tiny stomach

it's normal. my baby does that too. babies want to look at things and eat and do everything all at once! lol..don't worry about ADD either....it's a bunch of crap anyway. If you think about it..EVERYONE has ADD. How often can you pay attention to something that you are not interested in?

This isn't ADD or ADHD. It's called being a 6 month old and very normal.

You cant self diagnose a 6 month old with ADD!!!!!!!
My daughter does it so i sit in my dining room where there is nothing interesting for her and that seems to work

lol, I was always saying "dang! we just can't feed him fast enough!!!" my son wanted bite after bite, and would get mad if you didnt get another spoonful fast enough!
Don't start thinking about ADD. If we judged it on how a 6 month old acts ...... they would ALL have ADD.

My nephew does the same thing. I think it's normal, babies are just curious and want to look at lots of things at the same time.
BTW--you pic is hilarious.....it reminds me of the text that was going around..."Are you my daddy?" LOL
