Giants VRS Patriots?
This week the New England Patriots go for an undefeated regular season. The Gaints have very little upside in starting their key players as they cannot improve their position in the playoffs.
Should the Giants try to win this game, or should they rest their players for the playoff?
I'm a giants fan but a cookie has a better chance surving the night at my house than the giants do of winning and I say rest their players, what do you think?

Giants need momentum so what other way to go out to beat the a undefeated team as good as the Pats and can always say they beat the best team in the regular season this year so Go Giants who'll win somehow b/c that's our nature!

I think the Giants have nothing to win, so I would rest the starters, or maybe just have them play a quarter.
The other thing the Giants will not do is insert many 'special' plays. They will want to save those for the playoffs. So I think th offense will be vanilla.
Coughlin knows this, but he could be under some pressure to play them tough.

Look, The Giants will not win a championship so resting players for the playoffs is simply resting them for games that no one will ever remember them losing.
Beating the Overratriots live on 3 networks, with Goodell in attendance excitedly waving his Overratriot pom-poms, would be remembered forever, especially if they shut them out 21-0 which would mean not a single meaningful record was set.
Losing yet another forgettable playoff game will not save Colonel Coughlin's job. Handing the Overratriots the greatest choke job ever would and beyond that it would never be forgotten.

Are you crazy! The giants have a chance to do something in history by not letting the pats go undefeated. If the giants rest their players then their cowards and your're not a real giant fan if you think they should rest their players.

Ok. Here is something that the Giants need to think about:
Whether they try to win or not, the Patriots could beat them standing on their heads and throwing the ball with their feet, so they might as well not bother.

I don't know, seeing how Shockey got hurt and Plaxico not 100%. Eli is a big target especially with Seymour and Wilfork playing. I wouldn't want to play him against the Pats D, but if its about pride then I say," break a leg." not literally though.

Resting players is not good in my opinion. Sitting them out due to injuries is one thing but "resting" them takes away momentum. They need to be out there playing hard and gathering momentum going into the playofffs.

hi you get carry of it incorrect. it rather is Patriots and Refs against Giants...Wow!! and the Giants are nevertheless forward....Refs extra suitable step it up or Bellichik will ought to bypass back to cheating
