How many people do you think will watch Patriots vs. Giants?

Anyone want to guess how many viewers there will be for the Pats-Giants game this weekend?

We could have the first 16-0 team in the history of the NFL. On top of that these to teams are both eastcoast so that will bring in alot of viewers. And there will be plenty of fans from other teams interested in seeing what happens.... Some wanting the Pats to win, others wanting the Pats to lose. And to top it off, the game will be shown on two major TV stations, NBC and CBS.

Update:

Thanks, slick k.

34 million, approximately. I hate the hype machine, but I will watch it while enjoying some adult beverages. Go Giants.

"We could have the first 16-0 team in the history of the NFL."

sorry to ruin the game if thats what you though. But the '72 Dolphins went 16-0.

but Im not going to watch the game. The Patriots have a much better team. Also I don't know whos seen the Giants lately, but they are playing the worst I have seen them play in a long time, I dont even think it will be close.

Plus it doesn't really mean anything. The '72 Dolphins went 19-0 with a superbowl victory, The Pats still have 3 more game to play after saturday, 2 which could be against the Colts and Cowboys. I know the Pats beat both of those teams already, but trust me both will be more prepared the 2nd time around

Actually just to set all the number correct. The 72 Dolphins were 17-0. There were only 14 games back then with 3 rounds of playoffs. If the Pats winout the rest of there games possible then 19-0 will be the best record ever. However, who really caresIts all about who wins the super bowl, no one ever remembers who comes in second place. Plus the whole New England area is to spoiled right now anyway with Boston College, Red Suxs, Pats, Celtics.

Do not know, but how big a game can it be when one team is going to rest its players, man how things have changed, between this game and the cowboy-redskin game, back in the day, Stauback or Lily would have crawled out of hospital bed to keep the red-skins from making the play-offs, Pitiful!!

In reference to the record, whether it's 17-0 (Miami) or 19-0 (Patriots possible record), both are a 1.000 winning percentage. Neither one is better than the other.

But, my guess is 35 million are watching.

I think it will be one of the most watched games in history. If you hate the Giants, Patriots or both, or are a fan, this game has the hype and the storyline to back it up.

It will be a huge audience. Then Collinsworthless and Dumbell will say something and it will get much smaller. They are the worst NFL game announcers anywhere.

    40 million peeps

I will then I will record it in HD and sell the DVD on E-bay for massive bucks if the Pats make history. You know those Pats fans will pay for it.
