My little Rat Terrier in need of help!?
I have a 3 year old Rat Terrier that has got two lumps next to 2 of her boobs. I took her to the vet and they said it could be mammory tumors, and they need to get it taken care of soon. The cost will be over 450 dollars, and I dont know what to do, I dont have that much money. I love my dog so much, she is the reason I am here today. I wish there was some kind of chairty or something that could help us out even if it was just a little bit of help it would be something. I am so stressed, I wish it was me instead of her... Please keep my little girl in your prayers thats all im asking. I hope to get help with this soon or come up with some extra money. Just needed to vent, thanks.
Here is a pic of my baby girl I am talking about.. Everyone please meet Mollie.

ask a friend of mmaybe one of ur parents to help dont ask for the whole $450 just ask for some and pay back later and if the lumps are loose or can move then theres nothing wrong with her just get that double checked because sometimes they make mistakes... also if ur dog isnt spayed its a chance that she had those tumors its very rare that a dog as young as that and if she is spayed to have mammory tumors
check out this i tells u everything u need to no about them....http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=2&arti...

How about trying a local college's vet program? They have vet interns who are skilled, but aren't ready to be a vet yet. They work under the direct supervision of an actual vet. In Indiana, Purdue University has this. Good luck and me heart goes out to you and your baby girl.

There are places that help pay for animal care when you can't call your local humane society and look them up on line, i saw a posting on craigslist a little bit ago, that listed a whole bunch of places that help pay the bill or the full bill so you can take it to the vet.

You are going to get hammered with," you don't need a dog if you can't pay the vet bill". I myself understand, and will keep you and your dog in my prayers. Some vets offer a medical credit card you can apply for. It has about a $500.00 limit, the payments are very fair. call around and see if they offer that option. Good luck.

So sorry about your news regarding your sweetheart!! Go and research Terrier groups, on Yahoo, Google, MSN...ect. They can do a foundraiser where people can donate toys, leashes, dog beds, etc....everyone bids on the items knowing it is a fundraiser for your baby! I have bid on severla for American Eskimo's & Husky's. You will find one!! Good luck and many prayers!

Go to your local humane society and tell them that you need help they should have a vet on staff that will help for a lower cost.

Good luck. :,( I wish there was something I can do. Contact your vet, friends, or family members to see if they'll donate money or refer you to someone who can help.
