03' BMW Z4 or 04' G35 Coupe?

Depends. G35 seats 4, Z4 seats 2. For pure performance I would go for the 3 litre Z4. It handles better and has better engine response. It is a better quality car as well.

A 3 litre Z4 should also be a bit more expensive than the G35 I would think.

For performance, you should be comparing the Z4 to the Boxster. There, it would be a tough comparison. But even then I would prefer the Z4 because it looks sharper.

Although the G35 has a larger engine 3.5 litre, it doesn't perform as well. Its slower and harder to handle. Apparently the Nissan 350 & G35 has had a lot of reliability issues.

OK now that your comparing these to cars you need to look at the specs of both cars. First thing the BMW Z4 has better handling than the Infiniti G35 Coupe. Also the BMW Z4 gets better fuel economy than the G35. while on that topic the Z4 has better safety features that than G35. but besides that the BMW is for a person who is looking for performance, superb handling and high reving engines. While on the flop side the G35 is the type of car the is more luxurious than the Z4 who has more of a sports touch. But the G35 does have the ability to become a fun car but not as fun. Now if you plan to modify the car BMW is not as expensive as people think if you order from the website www.bavauto.com which specializes in just BMW's. So i hope this helps personally i would recommend the BMW Z4 or possible the BMW 335i Convertible.

Most BMW Z4 drivers are women. This shouldn't affect your decision, but just to let you know... The Z4 is a convertible and the G35 coupe has two extra usable seats in the back. I'd get the G35 coupe. It's faster, better looking and more reliable. Just to note, The G35 coupe is more of a 3 series coupr competitor rather than a Z4's.

G35 hands down. In terms of reliability, the BMW can not compare to the G35. In terms of drivability, they are close but the G35 is no doubt faster- 0-60 in 5.5 vs 0-60 in 6.3. The Z4 also only fits 2 people, requires expensive maintenance and a convertible, as sexy as it seems, is not for the winter at all. Go with the G35 and you won't regret it.

They are really two completely different cars. If you value performance first, then go with the BMW. It will own the G35 in pretty much any performance contest. If you want to drive the car everyday, you'll probably be happier with the G35, as they are built to be a daily driver more than a sports car.

Z4, Z4, Z4!!

I've autocrossed the old G35 and it is truly craptacular on the track. Lots of power in a car that doesn't handle is really dangerous. The front seats don't hold you in. Front passenger will get tired just trying to stay in his seat. The back seat is so uncomfortable as to be useless. Rear seat passengers will get car sick. You might as well get a roadster.

Z4 is quiet and comfortable even at high speeds. Trunk is big and gets bigger with the top up. BMWs are durable cars that will go for ever if you keep up with the service.

Do watch out for high maintance costs on the BMW. Dealer will rob you blind. Find a good independent shop.

Bmw z4....is lighter faster in corner and straight and make a better sound. Looks way better too.

id go for the g35 cus its got so many aftermarket parts available. the bmws get so expensive.
