dont you all think its terrible to get so depressed over trivial issues??
i just read a persons message in sporting, hunting and this person got so depressed because he missed hunting season, his truck wasnt ready, he sat an waited along time and didnt kill anything. dont you all feel there are far more important issues in the world to get upset about than killing animals>? i find its so sad.
if all this person has to do to get himself in a state of depression is to miss hunting a deer rabbitt squirrel etc...
when the issues of life and others with debilitating illnesess are far more important and worth getting depressed about.
tell me how you all feel ok???

He is probably very young and/or has never experienced any real tradedies, deaths or illnesses. Right now his worries are probably few and far between. Youth is wonderful in that way.........most of the time!

I think you are understanding this person's post in a rather superficial way. To him, the hunting was (probably) a whole context he had looked forward to, that bonded him with his friends, that gave him a sense of himself. It's not the killing animals bit that is really upsetting him, it's the whole thing, which impacts on everything of his life.
It is equally 'trivial' to be upset about the death of someone you only see a couple of times a year, or the break-up of a relationship that everyone could see wasn't going to work, etc etc. Of course, these things are not remotely trivial - they affect the whole of who you feel yourself to be and trying to judge them by the superficial concrete bit as you have done with the hunting man is really very unfair.

Do you think it is terrible that you would put a person down and mock them when they are feeling bad?
Hunting is a important issue lady, without us hunters animals would be starving due to over population. Not to mention us hunters at least have the ability to obtain our own meat, we dont rely on others.
Take a lesson in conservation, and get over yourself.
Source(s): Are these other "important isuues" you describe the "hair treatments" and the "weight of models" that you appear to worry about in your other questions? Dont forget lady, man is a animal. You seem to have lost all your natural instincts and replaced them with un-natural plastic feelings - Anonymous1 decade ago
You don't. The trivial trigger is the vacation but the cause is the false expectations for sex in his life. Endorphins were not there to offset the other disappointment that day. Endorphins speed up the heart and breathing as they cancel the effects of the unbalanced chemicals of depression.

Definitely,
I'm sure you realize this but people teach each other what disappointment is. They're taught to feel sad, to regret, and to feel the pressures of failure.
It's only so society can function but pushing people as far as we have isn't healthy. For as much as we've advanced it seems as if the number of depressed rises parallel to it.
