Why does my dog shake his head when I ask him a question?

    he doesn't like the sound of your voice maybe too high pitched and hurting his ears try toning down

  • first of all, do you really expect you dog to answer a question?

    secondly, if your dog is contantly shaking his head, it could be the signs of an ear infection.in that case you need to see a vet.

    Shaking his head is either a sign of ear mites or an ear infection.Get him to the vet to be diagnosed.Unless you really think he is saying :I don't know.." LOL

    May be you asked him a physics question and he didnt know the answer.

    Ask him a botany question, he graduated and took phd in botany from the university of Koothatukulam 2 years back.

    maybe he sees other people answering questions by shaking his head 2 u and copies them ( unlikely though )

    he likes the sound of your voice in question form. Mine does it too, It's the excitement we put into our voice when asking a question. My dog loves it when i talk to her, and it seems as yours does too.
