When Should I Start Feeding Seed Etc To Baby Lovebird?
My baby Lovebird, Peaches turns 4 weeks old today. I take him/her out a couple of times everyday now and feed baby bird milk supplement. When can I introduce fruits and veggies and maybe some seed to him/her? Thank you.

KEEP MILLET SPRAYS IN THE TANK FOR THEM TO PECK AT AND THEY WILL START EATING SEEDS THERE, START ANYTIME AFTER THEY ARE ALMOST DONE TUBE FEEDING, WHICH ,, MMM ALL BIRDS ARE DIFFERENT SO I WOULD SAY WHEN THEY GET VERY LOUD AND STRONG FOR THE TUBE , WITH FEATHERS, AGE DIFFERENT, AND INTORDUCING MILLET EARLY WONT HURT THEM ANY BUT IF YOU INTORDUCE REAL FOOD BE SURE TO TAKE IT OUT IN A FEW HOURS SO IT DONT BECOME BAD..,. GOOD LUCK. J

Milk? I hope you're talking about a good hand feeding formula. If not, that is what should be fed. As far as seed goes, now is good. Start with spray millet. Also start giving the bird vegetables soon. A bag of frozen mixed vegetables is good to keep on hand. Put a little of them in a separate container and put hot water on them to warm them up. Pour off the water after a few minutes. They can still be cold, just not frozen. It is important to start young with a variety of foods.
