I am trying to install sims 2 pets and i keep getting a message saying:?
"a problem occured when trying to transfer the file E:/tsbin/ijl15.dll from the media. it wont let me retry and everytime I go to reinstall the game I get the same message. The game installs fine on my other computer. What can I do to fix it?
Ive played sims 2 pets before and I happen to enjoy it...open for business has good stuff but its confusing trying to open a business, I got my sim stuck at the business community lot and couldnt get them back home! I did clean the disk and apparently its clean cuz it worked on my other computer.

I would recommend reinstalling your game (the base game and all other expansion packs).
Make sure you backup your files (downloads, neighborhoods, etc.). You should have done this before you tried to install Pets anyway, but just in case you forgot, do it now.

Assuming you are installing an original legitimate copy, it is because the disk is dirty, you will have to try really hard to clean it and try over and over again until it works. Thats what i did with mine..

For starters, what the disc is attempting to pass is the kinfolk relaxing Stuff %. itself (its designation is SP1 (SP for Stuff %., and one million because it exchange into the 1st)). So worse case state of affairs, you could attempt going into the disc from My pc (suitable-click on the disccontinual and choose Open) and manually drag-and-drop the .exe record and spot if that facilitates any. different than that, might desire to the disc itself be grimy (i.e. a fingerprint)? that's sufficient to be certain aspects of a disc unreadable till wiped sparkling.

I happen to have that problem too!I kept trying like for ever to install it, and finally it worked!Try that.

sims pets isnt that good all it ads is some extra furni which isnt that great and dogs and cats and you cant control the pets they just do as they please and they destroy the furni and knock over the garbage can.
i recomend open for business or nightlife :)
