The anomaly has it right...except he has two Centers, so I'd take out Russell and put in Karl Malone and now you have one player for all positions. If you can have multiple centers, I'd keep Russell and take out Bird, and put in Kareem. Don't get me wrong. I think Bird was just as talented as Kareem, but as far as the Center position is much more important than Small Forward.
But since I must come up with MY best team ever, it would be:
PG: Derek Fisher
SG: Rip Hamilton
SF: Bruce Bowen
PF: Antonio McDyess
C: Ben Wallace

1. bill russell
2. wilt chamberlain
3. michael jordan
4. magic johnson
5. kareem abdul jabbar
6. larry bird
7. jerry west
8. elgin baylor
9. oscar robertson
10. bob petit
the reason i put bill russell 1. is because he changed the way teh game was played. he was the ultimate team player willing do whatever it took for his team to win. wilt chamberlain was more dominant in his day than michael jordan was in his career. wilt made the nba adopt more rules to limit his dominance. that's how great wilt was
