Well first off sometimes the guy MISSES the kick, second sometimes things go wrong. Now the next point is that would be silly. mean technically a team could do a fake on the extra point and confuse the other team. Not going to happen but it could. The bigger issue though is I would be really annoyed that all the sudden we get stuck with an EXTRA play. After all the PAT doesn't need to be done UNLESS it is a two point conversion. So what the refs run out Ok do you want to go for another point. Well now EVERYONE will. What would you lose? Now a two point conversion is putting your ONE point at risk.

how about a few years back when the saints played the jags.

the saints were down 7 and with a couple seconds left they made a crazy td with a bunch of laterals and thinking the game was gonna go into overtime john carney comes out and misses the extra point.

No they should not. It has been the deciding factor of many games. Auburn and LSU in 2004 was supposed to be a win for LSU because John Vaughn missed. Luckily there was a penalty and he got another chance. They should keep this extra point system.

Sometimes extra points are blocked. Sometimes they fake it. Sometimes they miss. Sometimes they are blocked and returned for points for the defense.
