Here is how you can start a new Yahoo Group:
1. Go to Yahoo!s homepage, from the left hand side list choose "groups"
2. when the pages comes, there is box which says "Easy as 1-2-3. Start your group today." Click on it.
3. Then you enter to your Yahoo mail address.
4. You have 3 steps to create your yahoo group, which are: Categorize, Describe and Select Profile

It’s easy to start a group. Just click Start a Group on any Yahoo! Groups page. We'll walk you through a simple set-up process and presto, you’ll have a group!
It’ll get listed in the Yahoo! Groups directory within a few days, in the category that you select during the set-up process. Occasionally, our team of category editors comes across groups they feel have been miscategorized, and if this happens with your group, we’ll let you know.

If you prefer not to create a Yahoo group you could check out Google groups or MSN groups.
It's easy to start a Yahoo Group. Just go to http://groups.yahoo.com/start and follow the easy three steps it takes to create a Y! group.
