How can I get the songs on my iPod to stop skipping to different ones? I have already tried restoring it!?

did you double check that shuffle is off?

if you have problems with it, and you just got it, and it's malfunctioning, you can take it back to apple and they'll give you a new one. because it wasn't your fault. it was a manufacturer's problem.

First of all do you have insurance? Second of all what store did you buy it at? iPod generally is very good if you have insurance. Bring it into the store that you bought it from and explain the problem and they can look up your name and send it in. Or you could tell them that you just bought it and bring in the reciept and say that it is acting up. If you didn't buy insurance then... you can still send it in but it will definately cost you some $$$

OMG! i have that same problem!!!!! it is sooooooo anoying! b/c i have like 200 songs on my ipod (i know its not that many songs but i have a huge list of songs that im going to get) and it skips sooooo many of my songs that i can only like, listen to like, 20 songs......i have the ipod mini and...mine is skipping b/c it is just an old ipod and i new to get a new one.....so chances are your i pod is just old

Take it to any Mac store. They can work miracles!
