Yahoo mail keeps making me sign in every few minutes!?
Also when I do a word search I get page not found or a porn site.
But it has been checked for 2 wks. the last yr.
Trust me - it's weird to be asked every 3 min.
OK Anjana - I will give it a try and let u know.

try checking off the box for "remember me". it will do it for 2 weeks.
also for the search, modify the filter so it on either medium or high. the low setting will show nearly everything.

Just delete Yahoo messenger from the Program files, if at all you have stored it there! You can click 'start', click 'control panel', click the 'add or remove programs' and now the box opens to show the programs you wanted to remove!
Remove YM and close ! Now, download YM afresh! Added you can download the CCleaner from www.ccleaner.com and use it regularly to clear all the unwanted entries in to the registries etc, which would eliminate other obstructions!
You can also download the AVG antivirus free software which when installed can clear all the bad and corrupt (which are virus affected) records and the problems of your word search!

I have to say, YUCK!
Back to the problem. The Yahoo! Mail problem is just the result of improper settings, go to your mail, and do the following:
1. Click on My Account.
2. Enter your username and password if required.
3. Next to Member Information, click Edit.
4. Set the 'Prompt for Password' setting to the desired value.
As for the other problem, a virus.
Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to get it cleaned, and install AVG Anti-Virus from http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/

• You have occupied much disk space
• Errors on Network Settings
• You have been Idle a long time and says that your session has expired
• Logging in without signing-out and checking the box that says "keep me logged in for two weeks if i dont sign out" and lets you sign in for safety
Some possibilities only...
