Why am I not getting fat?

in spite of all the tons of food I eat, taking vitamins and minerals supplements, and exercises. I eat almost 3 cups of rice, I always feel hungry and I eat maybe 7x a day.. My parents and sisters are all chubby. I am 46kls. 5'6 and skinny but my stomach is big (I had been purged). Is this normal? What will I do.,? Do I need to workout or body build?

It's because you have a high metabolism. Nothing wrong with that. You need to either slow down your metabolism or up your intake of food.

Michael Phelps (Olympic swimmer) eats 8000 calories per day. Imagine that.

If you want to gain weight and lose that stomach, you do need to take in more protein, less carbs and do some body building. Excess carbs (rice) which are converted to fats are going to your belly which is normal as most skinny people have this problem.

Feel free to email me if you need more info. ^_^

Source(s): ADD: Parasites rarely make your belly big unless it's serious enough to warrant an operation. SO i would rule out parasites unless you're suffering from other ill effects like lethargy.

you probably have a very fast metabolism however a bloated stomach could be irritable bowel or allergy to something you are eating. A good idea would be to see a Doctor re your large stomach if it is large in comparision to the rest of your body.

You could have a parasite. They eat all your calories...

and parasites can make your stomach big while you're skinny.
