I think you should learn Italian, my language.

It's romantic but it's also very funny.

I think you'll enjoy yourself learning Italian! =)

The two above are right - I hear good reports about learning Italian, (my mother claimed she was able to learn it in 6 weeks, with some knowlege of other European languages). Also, it is a language you will come across so frequently in cooking, art, music, (and of course - there are plenty of Italians about!)

Colloquial Arabic is surprisingly easy to get a smattering of - and the strange looking alphabet can be learnt very quickly. Try downloading or otherwise obtaining the 'Pimsleur Eastern Arabic' course for a quick easy introduction to it. You can travel to some really ancient beautiful and interesting places with it. Also it is a commericially valuable language to know.

I think Arabic, it is a growing language and it is pretty funny because some words sound the same with a completely different meaning and the the pronunciation in some letters are fun to try to pronounce.

Source(s): Learned it and is still funny because my little brother is learning it with a weird accent and makes me and himself laugh.
