My budgie makes a lot of noises like squeaks, and sometimes he makes a noise that sounds like he is angry.

I can't find any information on google about it, does anybody know what kind of sound a happy budgie makes?

They make this chuttering noise, like someone talking under their breath, to themselves. It's hard to describe but if you've ever heard it you know what I mean. The louder the noise is, the more excited they are. Most of the time the loud noises are to defend their territory from perceived threats (from a toy or you). I know it doesn't make sense but they're hardwired for territorial fighting and if they can't find another budgie to fight with, they'll pick anything. The softer noises are courting (again could be his mirror or a toy). And the mumbling under the breath noises are just relaxation, alls-right-with-the-world noises.

It is not unusual for a bird to feel overwelmed in a new enviroment. It can take 2 day for the little guy to start to come around. You have given lots of food and water. Great. Take one of the food dishes or millet to the perch he is on The only thing is if you pick him up and feel if he is very thin. The breast bone will be very evident. If that is the case take him to a vet. i also own 2 birds a parrotlet and a nanday conure

they make a high pitch whistle and what mine does when its happy is talk taught my budgie how do talk

mine talks,,,,says all sorts of words,,,,

he has the run of the house,,flies in and out of his cage

we just be carefull when openin doors,always check where he is,,before opening

pretty much the same annoying sounds they make the rest of the time..

SCREECHES !! SQUEALS, PEEPS, POOPS, AND DOES AN ACROBATIC FLIP

IDK. He just makes noise.
