AIM instant messenger users.........got a question for you.?

I was wondering if those of you using the latest version of AIM instant messenger were using either the "GG Games" plugin or the "AIM tunes" plugin. If so.....what is your opinion of either. Is any crapware installed along with either of these to bog down your pc, or are they pretty much stand alone plugin/apps? Opinions and experiences wanted. Thanks.

My 14 year old daughter installed every free plug in she could find. I had no problems at all. There was only a little problem when an upgrade for windows wasn't accepted. My computer uses MS XP Pro from work and the license has expired. I would just need to buy a new version of xp or buy a version of vista. None of the down loads you mentioned slowed down my CPU. The yahoo tool bar slows you down a lot, Google tool bar does not slow you down. Switching from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox will speed you up. If you find something slows down your cpu simply use system restore

AOL and all of it's programs i.e. AIM, are terribly infiltrating throughout your pc and absolutely do tend to "bog it down".

I just can't understand why anyone is still using that terrible provider!
