Has anyone read the book, "My Brother Sam is Dead"?

If you have can you tell me how you liked it? I was going to read it yesterday but I never got to it.

Fundamentalist christians hate the book My Brother Sam Is Dead.I read it to see why.In the book, the churches don't support the Revolution.Fundamentalist christians love to take credit for the creation of America,so the book is a slap in the face to them. That said,it is a good book. You should read it.The ending is a bit brutal though.

    I read it.

I usually enjoy historical fiction written for younger readers.

However, I found "My Brother Sam Is Dead" to be a boring story. It's been at least 5 years since I read it, so I cannot be specific as to why it was boring.

I would recommend "Johnny Tremain." It's a much more interesting story, also about a teenage boy during the Revolutionary War.

I read it, it's a good read, it won't be your favorite book or change your life or anything, but I liked it, you might.
