How do I drop my messenger account.I don't want it anymore?

    Go to your control panel, click on to add/remove programs, click on messenger remove button and delete the program. This will delete it off your system so you don't have to see it again. I have listed the link below to help you with the information needed.

    You can't drop your ID if that is what you mean. You just simply stop logging into messenger. I have had yahoo id's that I haven't used in years and they never go away.

    dont open it anymore...it will automatically close after 16months
