You should try a few they are great fun. One, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is fun and very active. I have that game for my console.

Wii Sports has a bunch of games. Tennis, Boxing, Bowling, Golf, and many more. I tried it at my friends house and I couldn't stop playing the Wii. You should buy it!

Wii Play is basically shooting targets. You have to unlock each game at a time with saving it. If you do not save the data you have to play the games again. Once you have unlocked each game you can play all the games.

One more would be, Carnival Games. It is active, but not like Wii Sports. You can play many games. Bowling Coaster, Shoot the clowns, and many more.

mario party 8 seems like the one that is the most popular! most people think that game is fun and good for entertainment while playing. there's also cooking mama, where you learn to cook!

if you like multiplayer games its super mario strikers charged... at least until super smash bros.
