What's your experience taking the supplement melatonin?
I was hesitant to, but nothing else was helping with my insomnia, and I feel great on it. Can it be used long term safely? Will I have to keep increasing the dose (I take 3 mg now) to get the safe effects ( refreshing sleep without grogginess)?

It differs from person to person. Since it is a natural product it is safe to use long term. Although in my personal experience the longer I used it the less effective it has become, so I have had to increase the dose. It also causes some people to have very bizarre dreams.

. It's good stuff, but some people react different than others. It should be safe for 3-4 weeks.
The sites below didn't mention increasing the dose.
