Snacks/Recipes?

over the holidays i have eaten a lot of cinnamon sugar toast. It is made primarily made of sugar, and bread (carbs) with a bit of butter and a tad of cinnamon. I eat it because it is ready in 10 minutes and the cleaning takes only 2 minutes. If you you have any quick/easy snack recipes that are healthier than cinnamon sugar toast may you please post them.

Best answer for recipe that is easiest, tastiest and least clean up afterward.

Update:

okay, i didnt mean thats all i eat. I have just eaten it frequently lately and wanted a few more ideas.

Buy restaurant style nacho chips, put on plate and grate some cheese all over, few daps of salsa on the side, heat 35 seconds in microwave.

Buy hummus dips or babaganouche (spelling?) - keep pita bread handy - you can cut them into triangles and toast slightly in oven to make crunchy.

Keep bag of frozen strawberries in freezer, also toss any overripe banana into freezer on occasion - when you want a snack put the following into a blender: yogurt, frozen strawberries and banana, some vanilla ice cream, milk - blend up and enjoy.

Keep Nutella on hand (chocolate hazelnut spread) and dip fruit into it.

Make grilled cheese sandwich with a twist... use brie for the cheese and also insert some thinly sliced zucchini (slice with a cheese knife) - put into a sandwich maker or make in fry pan.

Put on a plate some olives, slices of tomato, small chunks of feta cheese, drizzle with balsamic vinegar if you have it..

umm.. I could go on..... love snacking...... hope this helps.

My 14 yr. old daughter loves to mix peanut butter and pancake syrup together to form a smooth mixture, then spread it on toast or dip apple slices in it. Kind of tastes like caramel. She also likes to take chocolate syrup or chocolate pudding and dip bananas in them. No muss, no fuss, no microwave, no stove, no blender needed for either. These are her 2 favorites when she gets the midnight munchies on school nights and doesn't want my wife or myself to know she is up!
