What skirt length is most appropriate for unsightly calves?

I'm going to a New Year's ball and it's semi-formal, so I was thinking of wearing a tea length black cocktail dress. I'm not a "round" person, but I'm really self-conscious about my calves---I think they're too big, and I hate them! Do your eyes zoom to a girl's legs when she's wearing a skirt that length, or only a short (or inappropriate length!) skirt? My friend is wearing a full-length gown, but I also don't want to look like a prom leftover. What do you think?

Try getting an A-Line skirt that goes right to your knees, with some cute heels to help elongate and thin out your legs. =)

Trust me, I hate my calves, but I love this little trick.

and it doesn't hurt to go tanning before hand, because a tan makes you look thinner.

And semi-formal, is a party length dress. Your friend will probably look out of place, unless it's a basic dress, nothing over the top and fancy.

If you are uncomfortable with your calves, get a skirt that hits your calf just below the largest point, as they start to narrow.

Shapely calves are very attractive, and often calves are safe from unsightly cellulite that thighs can be cursed with. I would not worry.

Definatly no longer one that comes only above the knee!!It desires to be the two a very long skirt or one that a minimum of finishes on the best of the boot! Knee severe boots look good with any lenght skirt yet calf lengh are somewhat greater problematic and could look truly undesirable in case you get the skirt lengh incorrect!!attempt it and notice! x

You could wear a skirt that comes down halfway between your calves so you can't really see your calves but it doesn't go all the way down and its not too short.
