three people who work full time are to work together on a project, but their total time on the project is to be equvalent to that of only one person working time. If one of the people is bugeted for one-half of his time to the project ansd a second person for a thirdof her time,what part of the third worker's time should be budgeted to this prject?

1/2 +1/3+c=1
3/6+2/6+c=1
5/6+c=1
c=1-5/6
c=1/6

1/2 +1/3= X
You need a common denominater. Which is 6. you have to multipy each andyou have to do both top and bottom.
3/6 + 2/6 = 5/6 leaving 1/6 to make the number a whole number. The answer is 1/6.
