I checked on ebay at 5:54pm on Sunday December 30th 2007 and the highest bid was $157 for an Elvis Presley autograph on a piece of paper. It doesn't say when it was signed, I don't think it matters. It's not that much if you are moving but every dollar counts! You may want to try putting it on ebay to just see how much it would sell for. Good luck!
P.S. visit this URL below to see the signature on ebay and the current highest bidder.

This doesn't help much, but It really depends on the collector and who's buying it. Antique dealers like to buy stuff associated with Elvis, simply because it's associated with Elvis. They will mark it up for 10x what it's really worth or what they paid for it. It's hard to authenticate a signature, there's too many possibilities for reproductions these days. Again it goes back to what the person is willing to pay. I'm a huge Elvis collector, but signatures don't mean anything to me unless I was there to get it myself. The next person might think differently and pay thousands just to have an original signature. Ebay would be your best bet.

I am sure that if you can prove it is authentic, it is worth a lot.
If you look up things like that on Ebay...just to get an idea what people are asking for a base price, you could go from there.
Sorry I am not much help.

Best place to start would be e-bay. Look under Elvis and there should be autographs for sale. Good luck with that!!!

Probley not much. Because how are people suppose 2 be able to know if its real or not.? I could write a fake one and sell it on e-bay. You know? Im not saying your is fake Im just saying Your outta luck because you cant prove it isn't. And I dont think any one would pay to much 4 even a real elvis autograph, why would any one need it? But good luck 2 you and your mom. =]

Find an antique dealer specializing in memorabilia. They can give you a good idea of how much it's worth, and suggest the best place to market it.

start studying autographs available at ebay and other big auction houses. depending on when he signed it (it can be figured out) and on what and if he wrote more than his name, the amount can range from 200 to 1000 and more.
