Hillary and Edwards to resort to smears?

I just read on AP that the Clinton and Edwards campaigns have claimed that, having lost to Obama, "gloves are off" and they are going to resort to dirty politics to try and win the nomination. What do you feel about this? Do you think that people who resort to smear tactics are only interested in power for themselves? Do you think the American people will fall for this again? Or are they sick of it?

Hillary's goons in particular are setting up Obama for the kill as we type. Americans fell for sleaze in 92 and 96, why should they change now?

I dont think that they will resort to smear tactics - they have not so far why should they in future. I suspect that Obama will run out of money fairly soon and his campaign will fall apart, it would be interesting to see him as Hillary's running mate.

It shows their true colors, mostly dark & seamy, I don't like either of them, so they can smear each other all they want.

I don't listen to ads for elections, the remote control is a wonderful invention, I can make them go away with the rest of the commercials in one easy push of a button.

that is another page from the republican or obama playbook.

there have been tons of unfair false rumour against hillary, but I guarantee you that she will endure and win in the end.

We ain't seen anything yet. Just wait for the "real" mud slinging starts. It's gonna be fun folks.
