Don't do it without your doctor's assistance. meds like that have to be weaned out of your system, and without a doctor's advice on HOW MUCH to decrease your dose, and at what intervals...you could be in for some trouble.

This is all well and good...IF your doctor agrees to take you off of your meds. You may still need them.

Depends on what you are taking. I know that most meds for anxiety you have to be weened off them slowly, especially Benzodiaphines, they can cause increased anxiety and a bunch of other side effects if you do not decrease your dose slowly.

You need to ask your doctor about this. I would not recommend you to just stop taking them.

I believe about four hours, but since you are not use to it, maybe longer. I take Adderall & Xanax at the same time. Both are prescribed. I have never had any noticeable negative effects. Either way, you may be up for a while.
