"Israel would not dare to attack Iran" Please give me your opinion?

The press has just released the latest comments made by Iran's hardline President Ahmadinejad saying that Israel would not dare to attack Iran.

What would everyone else feels about this..any opinion would be fine.

Update:

bebeto..yeah..israel wouldn't want their hard build nation went on war just like that..

Update 2:

linda and dlaszacs..the oil issue is truly ARE a problem. Fact is..Iran is the 2nd biggest oil producers..they need the green light from US to attack Iran if they are cornered..

Unfortunately Israel would. They are surrounded by enemies on all sides and believe that if an attack is imminent they would be the first strike a target.. They attacked a nuclear power plant a few decades ago.

Iran could try to disrupt the main (17 million barrels of crude oil) a year pass through) shipping route the Strait of Hormuz past its coast although Iran depends heavily on oil revenue this guy is a loose cannon though (.Saudis maybe looking at finding a different route.) I hope this will stop Israel from starting something with Iran as this would make the oil market very jumpy and noone wants that at the moment with oil at $100 a barrel. He's making these statements as its no secret and has been in the media ( I even saw a doco on how they will do it) that Israel have had a plan to attack Iran's nuclear bunkers in Mar 2008 for a few months now and the US upping the ante generally and with Bush's speeches in the Middle East he needs to reply.Bush should act like the grownup here.Neither men are popular at home or abroad but Ahmadinejad would benefit at home and abroad from an unprovoked attack from Israel.(hopefull he'll go soon and they'll get a president whos name is easy to spell!)The Bush admin and Israel is very miffed that a report concluded Iran had no nuclear bomb program (link below)and are trying to keep them in their sights.Hopefully nothing will kick off before Bush leave office.Diplomacy is needed as Israel is nuclear capable(although they neither confirm or deny this) While Bush is talking peace in the Middle East the Israelis and Palestinians are at war , Afghanistan is getting out of control and Iraq is far from a peaceful solution.

Israel has and will again act independently to attack a country who threatens them

the us administration still doesn't know why Israel bombed that site in Syria

simply Israel is democracy's best Friend in the middle east

the rest are crazy thugs or totally insane , dangerous and causing deaths like Iran

basically anywhere Islam goes its spread by the sword and is a repressive evil regime more so in Iran

I want everyone to realize and remember that when the israelis act in such an insane and stupid manner as to overtly attack Iran and cause the price of oil worldwide to sky rocket they did this without any provocation what so ever! The fate of the world will be decided by the israelis and the war monger george w bush!

Israel won't attack Iran as long as George Bush is not named as Prime Minister, but I don't think Israel is that stupid.

If the Israelis think the Iranians are about to come up with a nuclear weapon, they will try to take it out. They did it to Iraq and there's no reason to think they won't do it again.

Incidentally, Iraq wasn't really developing a bomb at the place that was blown up.

If Syria attacks Israel, which is more likely, I think Israel might retaliate all over the area, especially if Syria uses nuclear weapons. Attacking Iran without provocation?? I don't think so.

I think Israel could and would attack Iran. They are less prone to political correctness than the US, they would be very aggressive.

You saw what happened when the Arab countries ganged up on Israel, the Arabs are still trying to get their land back.

Oh! and, why not? please tell. I think Israel would "go at it" just as fast as anyone else. The U.S. had a time making them stand by during the Iraq Invasion.

Israel has a formidable Armed Force that could hold it's own. I wouldn't underestimate my aggressors.

If Israel finds their backs against the wall, I can guarantee you they will attack.

Think Pres Ahmadinejad is not bluffing it would be a tragic mistake for any country to attack them.
