Israeli missile attacks on Gaza dense populated area to stop Hamas rocket bombardment..is worth it?
The news has just confirmed that Israeli forces has just bombed Gaza dense populated area killing civilians to stop rocket and mortar attack on south Israel. The target was supposedly Hamas controlled armed forces that are police's post and confirmed Hamas's controlled buildings that houses terrorist but instead..a random target..Interior Ministry building packed in the middle of residential area.
The closures of Gaza border crossing making all supplies cut off..food..oil and medicine run out and civilian trapped. Humanitarian effort made by UN cut off and civilians are slowly dying.
Does the attack by Israeli forces as a retaliation by rockets fire in south Israel worth it?
452..anti-semitism would most probably not the correct words..Israel is in the Arabs land..if its true..then they have to kill all arab people for that..
Tod S and Janice k..i think both of you are right..but to all of you out there..Israel are better equipped than Palestinians..to make their plight justified..as everyone says here..defending its nation..they should have accurately target those terrorist. Targeting civilians are making them look bad..

When my son is punished with his whole 5th grade class for the misbehavior of one or two students, there is something intrinscially wrong with this situation. It does not make him respect or like his teacher for such consequences, and it is usually ineffectual behavior management. No matter how good he is, he will still suffer for the actions of his classmates, and it is a weak technique in the long-run. When a rogue group of militants fire rockets into Southern Israel, and Israel retaliates with brute force, will this make the Palestinians that don't do this even more good? No, it will make them dislike Israelis even more, and it will not have the intended effect in the long run. The rockets may stop for a time, but it will not change anything in the long-run.
Source(s): Might is not always right, in fact, it can sometimes be dead wrong. Suppressing behavior with military superiority is temporary at best and will backfire. When will people start realizing that it is through cooperation and mutual respect that peace will be achieved. - Anonymous5 years ago
Its a vicious circle. The west bank is so densely populated you cannot hit any target without endangering civilians. We used to say of the IDF, first class equipment, second class army and third class enemy.... Its not right for Hamas to fire into Israel, its not right to do so from populated areas nor is it right for Israel to retaliate against the population at large. However if you can think of an alternative - you are one up on every major international negotiator of the last 30 years.

The problem was caused by the British, after 30 yrs of occupation in Palestine they threw out the Palestinians and created Israel for the jews and illegal state, because Churchill had a jewish bodyguard.

Israel defending itself. Just where were the rockets from Hamas targeted? I thought so on the civilian population of Israel, as usual. Where was Hamas? Hiding in civilian homes. Again as usual. When Hamas gives up targeting civilians and hiding behind women and children maybe Israel will give up retaliating. Start judging both sides the same way and see what conclusions you come to.

Funny you guys in support of israel. Only natural considering the media bias. It is not justified at all. Israelis are constantly killing civilians. That cannot be justified no matter what. The middle east arabs are just trying to return palestine to the palestinians. It's funny you guys are talking about how they are just defending themselves. The arabs have barely killed any civilians in the war. Why have the israelis killed so many? The rocket sites are not within the deansly populated areas. If you think so your sources are wrong.

i would say they think its worth it, Israel is surrounded on all sides by their enemy, hamas want to see every one in israel die a horrible death and be wiped out from the face of the earth. .. kind of amazing to me to see biblical prophecy in the works, since they became a nation again, they have not lost a fight. . . i pray Israel stay strong and that U.S. will not negatively effect what they are doing there

Simple answer. Stop attacking them and they will stop trying to destroy the rocket sites.

Israel only does what's necessary for defense and survival. Anything thought to the contrary is false, and brainwashing. It's the only sane entity over there.

Hell no, it's not right or justified...so that makes me an anti-semite right?
Having an opinion against killing palestinian civillians is the criteria for anti-semitism correct? Just checking.
