Have you seen mapmyrun.com?

Good for bike planning as well

    The only discernible difference is that you can look over your local area for other saved rides rather than saved runners routes. I know in my hometown, the placed folks run a lot is not the same areas that are good for biking.

    I used www.mapmytri.com for the past year while training. I like the "follow roads" function, it is unique. Also, it easily accepts data from my Garmin Forerunner 305.

    Since the fall I've been using www.beginnertriathlete.com for my training journal. But, I still use mapmytri for the mapping functions.

    there's also veloroutes.org, and i happen to run it. so i like it best!
