My lower back hurts after doing a bun shaper excercise, why?

I started working out 3 weeks ago. I was doing fine until 3 days ago when I decided to do an excercise for my "buns". I have been in pain for the past 3 days. I have been using icyhot, biofreeze, and taking pills but I'm still in pain. I can hardly bend, and I walk slow because any pressure I put on my legs will go to my hips and lower back as a sharp pain, why is this happening and how long is going to last, I want to get back to working out. I also found this morning that on my right hip and lower back its a bit red, like when you slap your skin and it turns red. Does anyone know why is this happening. Thanks

I'd ask your doctor or a fitness trainer, with the exception of your lower back being red I would have guessed that the muscles in your lower back aren't strong enough for the exercise your doing. I don't know if the red skin is a side effect. You may also be doing the exercise wrong and the red skin could be caused by your muscles swelling because of being overworked.

You overworked the muscles, and you could have brused your self, or you are using to much cream, and are burning your skin. You could have put your back out. Go see a Chiropractor and get an adjustment, and then be slow in doing your exercise.
