Can you believe Harry Caray's been gone for 10 years?

He was such a great announcer...I loved listening to the Cubs games.

He had so much passion for the game!!

He may not be with us anymore, but his legacy still lives in our memories. It's hard to say he's gone when you can hear his announcing in your head when watching any amazing play ("Holy Cow") or hearing about the Cubs winning ("Cubs Win! Cubs Win!")

As you said a great announcer with a ton of passion.

    Hats off to Harry.

No, because the bible has been a continues thing not something that was lost for a few hundred yrs and dug up and ppl were like 'omg its a rly old book let read it and worship it!!' No. There was always some one who believed. And if what ur saying will happen remember there's a sweet little part in the book that say written by J k rowling. Surely in a few hundred years we won't have forgotten that the HP phenomenon that came with the books and with that there will be the information that the books were just the written world of somebody imagination. Just all the other works of fiction. I mean Lord of the rings is RLY popular but that doesn't mean that people will start believing in middle earth and go looking elfs and hobbits. Rly. Also people believe in the bible because they choose to. Just like all of the other religions out there in the world.

A favorite memory: Cubs at Cardinals on WGN one night, a rain delay, and Harry and Jack Buck have a great conversation on-air.

    Wish I had taped it.

Wow, it doesn't seem like 10 years. Harry told it like it was. If a player made a bad play, he wouldn't "sugar coat" it. One of my all time favorites, "Here's Bill North stepping up to the plate, this guy couldn't hit a home run in a telephone booth."

10 years already? Wow. I hate the Cubs, but the game is bigger than just one team and Mr. Carey was sometimes larger than life himself. His seventh-inning stretch rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" was a staple at Comiskey Park long before he came to the other side of Chicago. I miss him.
