Library of Songs and Artists?
I'm looking for a web site that would have an all encompassing listing of all songs and the performing artists.
I'd especially like the site to cover the entire archives listing of music going back to the earliest songs in the 1950's. I'm interested in a site that will list all produced songs/recordings and not just the top 50 or 100 hits etc.
I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Excellent site - you can access information about an artist, band, song, biography's, release dates, record labels - basically anything you want to know about an artist, it's there - and yes it goes back as far as recorded music goes. I've been using it for a few years and love it. For example, you can take a song title, at it will tell you every artist that recorded it, when it was recorded, what label it was on, what album(s) it appeared on and in most cases, you can listen to a clip of the song. A must for music lovers.
