I must say that apathy definitely is its own reward. It gets just what it gives: lack of passion and humanity.

Ignorance and stupidity I find carry a very unfair measure of grace with them. The stupid and ignorant dodge the bullet much of the time. It is those around them who suffer, I think.

Carrys its own reward, in the sense that if you choose to be or remain stupid, ignorant, apathic, lustful, or adulterant will you reap what you sow, then yes all of them are as such. In fact every aspect of human living can be so stated. Why? Because it is a universal law that we become changed by beholding, doing, and wistfully thinking.

Number 3 when applied appropriately. Apathy can be useful when someone is trying to manipulate you via your emotions. Something the church is especially good at.
