Do any airlines offer discounted tickets for children?

I know just a couple of years ago you could get a child's ticket 1/2 price with some airlines. Are there any out there that do that anymore for US travel? I'm trying to go from NY to MO & prices are outragous for July! Any suggestions? I've got to go during the week of the 4th but can stay longer than a week if cheaper.

    No..they sell seats not discounts for kids.

    specific, by utilising maximum airways. do no longer e book your flight on the instant with the 1st airline you call. call around to make sure which one is the final deal, you could save a variety of of money that way.
