Yeah they'er both pretty lousy brands to be honest...Magnavox being the "better one" if this is an LCD...I'll tell you what I always tell friends/family. It's an investment, think about spending a little bit more to get a better tv, as with LCD tvs they're either great, or they're crap. I would recommend brands like Sony, Samsung, Sharp....even a Vizio would be much better quality than the magnavox.

I'm curious how you can "upgrade" from a Sony or Toshiba LCD to a Westinghouse...seeing how the westinghouse is a cheaper brand... hmm...

Magnavox is owned by Philips. Trutech is a fairly generic brand. Make sure you buy the protection plan for whichever tv you go with. at least a 2 yr protection plan.

i've owned a sony and toshiba, but upgradedto a Westinghouse 46" (bought from HSN and WE LOVE IT), Philips 42" (bought it from Sears and WE LOVE IT) and a Sharp Aquos 52" (bought from HSN and WE LOVE IT, but my son loves it more because he watches his cartoons on it.) lmao. the things we do for our kids. ha ha ha... it was suppose to be used more for family movies and stuff but he gets mad when we change the tv from his cartoons... he's only 17 months. lmao...
