why DO you pick the best answer for your question here in YA?

to say thanks and appreciation to people who truly tried to help. if there was no good answer at all, i wouldnt be bothered.

I pick due to several criteria

- informative

- fulfill (most of) the inquiries

- if it's funny ~ extra points!

Sometimes if no time & missed out, I'll let it go to majority's vote. If free, I would vote for others as well.

Basically so the best answer is known.

Informative, related & deservingly get the marks for it.

If other ppl. search for similar Q/A thus they will get the info. to help them out.

All of the above too (like Bean) plus i think answerers would love to know which one is your (the asker) favourite answer. Like i always check on questions i answered to see whose answers have been chosen.

Could be the answer I'm looking for and if not, it's the closest I can get. And still if not, because I like it, and still if if not, because I adore it and still if if not not, oh crap! I have no other choices.

(I don't mean it, I'm not a mean guy. Just another crap answer)
