Unfortunately, there is no way anyone can answer this question for you.

I've known women who were on the pill for years and were able to conceive almost immediately after going off of it. I've also known women who weren't pregnant for a year or so after going off of the pill (Most women will get pregnant within the year of being off BC).

    Good luck.

I was on the pill for 5 years and have been trying for 6 months. Been off of them for 7 months. No luck yet. I chart my temps so I know I am ovulating, it just hasn't happened yet. My doc says 80% of his patients who have been on the pill get pregnant between the 6th month-12 month trying. He said it's rare that a person gets pregnant right off the bat but I happen to know quite a few of the rare people! LOL Every woman is different. It could take you 1 month or it could take you 1 year. Good luck trying and keep it fun!

I was on the pill for 7 years and I recently stopped in September. I was spotting in October and November I had a period but not in December. We have been trying to conceive since I stopped taking them. But when I went to the doctor in December I was not pregnant. The doctor said that it may take anywhere from 6 months to 1 year to get preggo, it depends on the person. We are still somewhat trying. Then your body has to adjust from the birth control pills. In January I got a normal menstrual and this month I got a normal menstraul. I did go to the doctor in Janaury to see if I was ovulating and I should know the results next week. So for your question, it depends.

I was also on the pill for 10 years and we have been TTC since August. My periods are still not regular. I have a period every 8-9 weeks. So if your periods are regular now, I would say that you have the same chance as someone who hadn't taken the pill. Sometimes it just takes your body a while to go back to normal.

    Good Luck!

it may be hard.. because you have been taking pills for so long.. In my opinion you should quit pills, because there are cases of woman with clogged veins caused for the pill... anyways good luck
