Why do women must wear make-ups?

hmmm.. i don't know...could be personality or to increase self esteem and self confidence.. even though I'm a girl but I don't wear make up like others..

Just for some reasons, like once a week or so, I only wear lipstick and eyelash..no foundation or whatever that waste my money... as to impress my hubby sometimes.. that's all..

I'm more into natural look.. wearing makeup makes me feel good and confidence.. I'm not saying that I'm lack of confidence when I didn't wear makeup.. it's style.. same as you go why you are wearing that style of clothes or hairstyle.. that's all.. no offence, everyone got their own style...

My ex-wife was a Malaysian Sikh. Holy CRAPPPPP. That women took 30 minutes to "make her face" in the bathroom mirror. It was irritating after a while. Truth be told...she was UGLY with or WITHOUT it. She was definately a CAKE FACE. She wore more make-up than those guys from KISS. SHe also used some kind of skin bleaching agent to make her skin look lighter colored. After we got divorced, she stopped using the bleach and her tone reutrned to a very DARK color.

It's not 'a must'. We wear them when necessary, and not all wear foundation like me. When you out under the sun, it doesn't feel comfortable at all. Sometimes we don't wear lipstick to look beautiful, our lips tend to be dry. Some women just put lip balm.

i do, but a bit only. foundation n lipstick. sometimes, the right foundation can moisturize ur skin n makes it look less oily,sheer looking face, does not only boost up ur confidence, but u'll feel comfortable as well. as for lipsticks, chicks apply them to their lips coz they enhance our look, thats why lipstick are usually red, reddish, or rosy coloured...same goes with blushers.

ya know, makeups has been around for thousands of years...and i dont think only women wear them...lol

To be successful in the modern corporate world, you have to spend 1/10th of your income in your dress, make up etc according to success gurus.

i just wear compact powder and lip balm to class or everywhere

well some people look good with make-up and some looks like a drag queen...

i dont think there's nothing wrong with wearing make up...just not too much...

i don't use foundation, only Vit E cream as day cream and loose powder..then mascara, rosy tone sheer lipstick, and light blush for a healthy flush...women just love make-ups you know......

i agree i think it is so ugly. here we call them "cake faces" because the makeup looks like it is caked on. it looks so fake i never wear foundation.

i dont. and strictly, never. lol eventhough im not pretty. they say they are no ugly women, just lazy women... you know like if you are not lazy you would do anything to make yourself pretty. it's untrue. im ugly and im lazy. oh well who cares
