Have you ever had an allergic reaction to a prescription drug?
If so, what drug did you react to and how long did it take you to recover from the reaction? I've been reading in some places that it can take some people over a week to recover from a reaction. I'm hoping and praying that it doesn't take me that long to recover from mine. And yes, I've discussed the problem with my doctor.

I am allergic to several prescription drugs and it depends on which one I took as to how long the reaction took to recover from. There is no way I can name all my drug allergies but the longest recovery time was about a week for Demerol and the same for Codeine. They had to pack my arm in ice to get the swelling down when they gave me a shot of Codeine and what made me mad was I told them I was allergic to it but they gave it to me anyway cause the Dr. ordered it. Always ask what they are giving you before you get it, you have the right to refuse any medication.
